Happy TAKURO day!!

お誕生日おめでとう!
Today's GLAY's leader, TAKURO's Birthday!
I wish him a great day!

And yesterday was 14 years since GLAY major debuted!
And 20 years since GLAY was formed!
All thanks to this awesome leader. He made it, together with Teru, and they were heading towards their dream together with Hisashi and Jiro!
Maybe the greatest band I'll ever come across!

From (-.-) to (^O^)

This day began bad...

...but ended up great!!

So, here's the story... :

I woke up, and then
- my throat still hurted after the fever and cold I had this weekend.
- I was feeling dizzy, maybe 'cause I hadn't eat any good during fever and cold..
- the Internet didn't work, whatever I tried
- so I played bass, but too much so that my fingers ached..
- the weather was good, but seemed to get worse
- maybe it would be raining while I had practice with the skaters outside

so I was like "one of these bad-days.." and didn't tried to make it better..

But later, the Internet started to work, around 5pm.
And the good things started to happen:
- Internet worked, I could check things out.
- the weather was quite steady, so during practice it didn't rain!
- we weren't chased off during practice!
- the bus was coming in good time
- TERU's blog was updated, one happy sentence that they're gonna have an EXPO!! (dunno when though..)
- UVERworld's newest PV was uploaded!! (Just break the limit!)
- And then, GLAY's newest PV was uploaded too!!!! (VERB)

Nyaaah!! So many great things!!
And I watched both new PV's.

UVERworld's Just break the limit! PV, I liked it, 'cause it was 'comfortable' and kind, good PV.

GLAY's VERB PV was just awesomely great!!
They are so Kakkoii in it, everyone of them!

One hell of a day, from sadness to happiest things!
Well, this is good too, 'cause it feels like you're alive! hehe

Sudden surprise...!!

This morning, I had planned to take a bath the first thing to do. But my dad planned the same so I let him bath first 'cause he's faster. So I was sitting in my room with pajamas, in front of the PC. My dad is traveling today, so one of his luggage was wide-open in front of the entrance..
And the doorbell rang, my brother opened and then came in to my room saying "It's your friend". But none of my friends would come around 10am without saying anything before. So I was really like (o_O). And then my brother came in again saying "It's your friend from Japan, Izumi". But what the heck would someone from Japan come and visit now?! And who's Izumi??

My brother called mum up and she sounded just so surprised and happy and told them to come into the house. My room is just near everything, the entrance, living room, kitchen. So I had no chance to go out without being seen. But I heard them go to the living room, and I looked for a chance to just sneak out and wash at least my face.
My mum came and told it was my childhood friend. I was (o_O) again!
I put on some random clothes, put basic make-up and went to the living room, there she sat with her younger brother and father. We haven't met each other since we were 5 yrs old!! I had seen her on some photos, but it's been like 15 yrs since we actually met!!
So we were very happy to meet each other!

In Japan, the semester called "Golden Week" is now, but due jobs and school, they only got a few days of break, so they came yesterday night, and are leaving tomorrow. They lived nearby and the father wanted to show them were, and because it's near, they came by us to say hello.
Unfortunate for them, the weather today sucks and it's cold... if they'd come last week, they would've had great weather and better temperature too.

Great surprise for us!
I hope they'll enjoy their short stay, even if the weather just gets worse... (^^)

Sakura, Rock, Sunshine

Honestly, the whole week has been just brilliantly sunny! The sun's been up as long as it could for nearly a whole week! It's just unbelieveable!

So, what's been happening these last days? Well, last Sunday, me and my friend was walking around in the city, just haning around. We went to the only place in the city (I think) where you can see Sakura-trees. With great weather, on a Sunday, there were so many people at the place that the only two things you could see was Sakura and people. They were relaxing in the sun, talking, reading, photographing the Sakura, eating ice creams, and on and on.
But it was such a great time to just be there. Unfortunately we didn't plan to go there, so I didn't take any good camera with me, these two photos are taken with my cellphone... not the best quality, but better than nothing.

So, that day, there was a Rock-event in the city, where amateur bands compete for a contract or whatever it was. And that day was the district final. My childhood friend's band had come this far, that they was going to play that day. I had never heard nor seen his band, only on their Myspace-site. So I was very excited, finally able to see them live!
And sure they were good! Only been a band for a year, still this great!
The judges were four people, and the crowd. The crowd was going to vote for the best band, and everything was like European Songcontest-like point-count.
My friend's band got highest crowd-points, but the judges was out for something else, and another band won the district instead. The national-final is going to be held in May.

Anyway, I was happy to be able to watch my friend's band live!

What's up now? I'm kinda part-time work at my dad's, but there is so little to do, so everyday I was going home earlier. Yesterday, I didn't even go there, 'cause there weren't any job to do anyway..
And yesterday night, my friend and I went to another friend's class' graduation party. The party was in Hard Rock Café, many people, good music, great place. We were enjoying, it was fun! I think it was very enjoying for the graduation students. Only less than two months to graduation.

So here I sit now, today's a bit cloudy, but good weather anyway. All my friends are busy with something, so I have nothing to do.. I'll watch Utaban soon..
Ah, I watched Akihabara@DEEP Movie yesterday and today. That one was different, but fun, 'cause of good actors/actresses. I'm liking Miura Haruma the more I watch him. And he's the best in Gokusen 3, now airing.

Well, I'll end here for now. Bye then!

Hey! It's snowing, in April...

Gaah, it's snowing and it's April, and it's snowing!
Can't believe it! I mean, here we go, thinking "Yes, at last Sweden's turning to spring too!", but hey, it's not that easy man. This country always needs one last shot of snow before going to spring completely.

And as for me, the skating season is fading away, I've almost nothing to do. These past days are just boring, no big happenings and nothing great planned.
It's in times like these when my thoughts are spinning in weird directions. Mostly questioning myself "What the heck am I doing..?!"
It's when I feel that I'm just standing on the same spot, not moving forwards nor backwards.

Well, I can tell about one of the best doramas I've seen, Security Police (SP), starring Okada Junichi and Tsutsumi Shinichi. About Japan in terrorist, where these SP's job are to protect special persons from terrorist attacks. Okada Junichi plays a character who's parents were murdered by a terrorist when he was a child, with the big chock, his senses gets very sensitive and discovers threads faster than usual people. And the episodes goes on with a big hidden secret through the whole dorama and the special that was aired last week. A movie is planned, where I think they'll reveal the whole or parts of the secret.
How it's ended now, I have no clue who's bad or what'll happen.
But I really recommend this dorama, and the main characters are so awesomely cool!

"Yume wa aru kedo..."

Geez... It was a long time since last time... Heh, it's not easy to keep up things here.. even though I'm not that busy...

Well, between the last time and this time, quite much have happened.
One of the biggest is of course the World Figure Skating Championships in Göteborg (Gothenburg). And of course, we just have to go and watch it!!
So, my youngest brother and I went together with some other people from the figure skating club here at home. My brother and I saw:

  • Women's free skating and victory ceremony
  • Men's short program
  • Men's free program practice
  • Men's free program and victory ceremony
  • Exhibition practice
  • Exhibition
If I'm gonna explain and tell everything, I'll be staying up until morning, so I won't take it now.
The only word is: AMAZING!!!
This was our first time to attend a championship of figure skating. And we're so lucky it was here in Sweden! When our skaters from Sweden was going to skate, the whole arena was going crazy, and it was so loud that you could't hear the program music!!
And one of my biggest suprises was Takahashi Daisuke from Japan. He was just the best in short program! One of the best programs I've seen! So unbelieveable cool!! The music is specially arranged for just him. And in every skating, he gives more than 110% of himself to the audience and the judges! He's the world record holder after all.. (^O^)
Well, after this week he surely became the new favourite skater for me!

One of the best parts were during the Exhibition practice. And Team Surprise and their coach Andrea Dohany was there, Andrea was the one who arranged the Exhibition. And surely the only one who can come up with 5 wings rotation together!! All the skaters haven't skate synchronized skating before, so the first 2-3 times wasn't great, but after a couple of times practice, they all managed to rotate without problems! And over all, they all seemed to really enjoy it, they all were smiling and laughing! On the exhibition itself, when they came to the wings-part, you saw the skaters getting really excited and were smiling like never before! And it went perfect! Andrea's idea is really something!

-------------------------------------

After a great week with figure skating from all over the world, we had our own little figure skating week back home. One week with just practice during the easter break. I was coaching both on ice and off ice. Not many hours, but better than nothing. And I got very motivated after Worlds.

Today, or I shall say yesterday... I finally got to watch ONE OK ROCK's Live DVD "Yo no Naka Shredder". Seems so great to be able to have lives like these they had in their one man tour!
And again, I felt that they're really trying to express their feelings, encourage fans to go for your dreams, don't give up even if it seems hopeless, etc etc. And with this, I really don't want to give up my own dreams, even if they really just looks like dreams that's hard to fulfill.
I mean, when I still hadn't a dream, I was losing the meaning of living and doing things. But now, when I at last have a dream, big one, I don't wanna give it up. And that's what OOR really are trying to tell to everyone, just don't give up without even trying!

I have so much to tell, but whoever reads this blog may not wanna read this much... Now I see how much I really have written, and the clock is turning 1am... I'm hungry... I'll get something after this.

But what I wanna say is, just DON'T GIVE UP on your DREAM without trying!
No one knows what can happen if you don't try or move on. So whatever people say, whatever you may think can happen, do it before judging.
G'Night for me!
