Sakura, Rock, Sunshine

Honestly, the whole week has been just brilliantly sunny! The sun's been up as long as it could for nearly a whole week! It's just unbelieveable!

So, what's been happening these last days? Well, last Sunday, me and my friend was walking around in the city, just haning around. We went to the only place in the city (I think) where you can see Sakura-trees. With great weather, on a Sunday, there were so many people at the place that the only two things you could see was Sakura and people. They were relaxing in the sun, talking, reading, photographing the Sakura, eating ice creams, and on and on.
But it was such a great time to just be there. Unfortunately we didn't plan to go there, so I didn't take any good camera with me, these two photos are taken with my cellphone... not the best quality, but better than nothing.

So, that day, there was a Rock-event in the city, where amateur bands compete for a contract or whatever it was. And that day was the district final. My childhood friend's band had come this far, that they was going to play that day. I had never heard nor seen his band, only on their Myspace-site. So I was very excited, finally able to see them live!
And sure they were good! Only been a band for a year, still this great!
The judges were four people, and the crowd. The crowd was going to vote for the best band, and everything was like European Songcontest-like point-count.
My friend's band got highest crowd-points, but the judges was out for something else, and another band won the district instead. The national-final is going to be held in May.

Anyway, I was happy to be able to watch my friend's band live!

What's up now? I'm kinda part-time work at my dad's, but there is so little to do, so everyday I was going home earlier. Yesterday, I didn't even go there, 'cause there weren't any job to do anyway..
And yesterday night, my friend and I went to another friend's class' graduation party. The party was in Hard Rock Café, many people, good music, great place. We were enjoying, it was fun! I think it was very enjoying for the graduation students. Only less than two months to graduation.

So here I sit now, today's a bit cloudy, but good weather anyway. All my friends are busy with something, so I have nothing to do.. I'll watch Utaban soon..
Ah, I watched Akihabara@DEEP Movie yesterday and today. That one was different, but fun, 'cause of good actors/actresses. I'm liking Miura Haruma the more I watch him. And he's the best in Gokusen 3, now airing.

Well, I'll end here for now. Bye then!

Hey! It's snowing, in April...

Gaah, it's snowing and it's April, and it's snowing!
Can't believe it! I mean, here we go, thinking "Yes, at last Sweden's turning to spring too!", but hey, it's not that easy man. This country always needs one last shot of snow before going to spring completely.

And as for me, the skating season is fading away, I've almost nothing to do. These past days are just boring, no big happenings and nothing great planned.
It's in times like these when my thoughts are spinning in weird directions. Mostly questioning myself "What the heck am I doing..?!"
It's when I feel that I'm just standing on the same spot, not moving forwards nor backwards.

Well, I can tell about one of the best doramas I've seen, Security Police (SP), starring Okada Junichi and Tsutsumi Shinichi. About Japan in terrorist, where these SP's job are to protect special persons from terrorist attacks. Okada Junichi plays a character who's parents were murdered by a terrorist when he was a child, with the big chock, his senses gets very sensitive and discovers threads faster than usual people. And the episodes goes on with a big hidden secret through the whole dorama and the special that was aired last week. A movie is planned, where I think they'll reveal the whole or parts of the secret.
How it's ended now, I have no clue who's bad or what'll happen.
But I really recommend this dorama, and the main characters are so awesomely cool!

"Yume wa aru kedo..."

Geez... It was a long time since last time... Heh, it's not easy to keep up things here.. even though I'm not that busy...

Well, between the last time and this time, quite much have happened.
One of the biggest is of course the World Figure Skating Championships in Göteborg (Gothenburg). And of course, we just have to go and watch it!!
So, my youngest brother and I went together with some other people from the figure skating club here at home. My brother and I saw:

  • Women's free skating and victory ceremony
  • Men's short program
  • Men's free program practice
  • Men's free program and victory ceremony
  • Exhibition practice
  • Exhibition
If I'm gonna explain and tell everything, I'll be staying up until morning, so I won't take it now.
The only word is: AMAZING!!!
This was our first time to attend a championship of figure skating. And we're so lucky it was here in Sweden! When our skaters from Sweden was going to skate, the whole arena was going crazy, and it was so loud that you could't hear the program music!!
And one of my biggest suprises was Takahashi Daisuke from Japan. He was just the best in short program! One of the best programs I've seen! So unbelieveable cool!! The music is specially arranged for just him. And in every skating, he gives more than 110% of himself to the audience and the judges! He's the world record holder after all.. (^O^)
Well, after this week he surely became the new favourite skater for me!

One of the best parts were during the Exhibition practice. And Team Surprise and their coach Andrea Dohany was there, Andrea was the one who arranged the Exhibition. And surely the only one who can come up with 5 wings rotation together!! All the skaters haven't skate synchronized skating before, so the first 2-3 times wasn't great, but after a couple of times practice, they all managed to rotate without problems! And over all, they all seemed to really enjoy it, they all were smiling and laughing! On the exhibition itself, when they came to the wings-part, you saw the skaters getting really excited and were smiling like never before! And it went perfect! Andrea's idea is really something!

-------------------------------------

After a great week with figure skating from all over the world, we had our own little figure skating week back home. One week with just practice during the easter break. I was coaching both on ice and off ice. Not many hours, but better than nothing. And I got very motivated after Worlds.

Today, or I shall say yesterday... I finally got to watch ONE OK ROCK's Live DVD "Yo no Naka Shredder". Seems so great to be able to have lives like these they had in their one man tour!
And again, I felt that they're really trying to express their feelings, encourage fans to go for your dreams, don't give up even if it seems hopeless, etc etc. And with this, I really don't want to give up my own dreams, even if they really just looks like dreams that's hard to fulfill.
I mean, when I still hadn't a dream, I was losing the meaning of living and doing things. But now, when I at last have a dream, big one, I don't wanna give it up. And that's what OOR really are trying to tell to everyone, just don't give up without even trying!

I have so much to tell, but whoever reads this blog may not wanna read this much... Now I see how much I really have written, and the clock is turning 1am... I'm hungry... I'll get something after this.

But what I wanna say is, just DON'T GIVE UP on your DREAM without trying!
No one knows what can happen if you don't try or move on. So whatever people say, whatever you may think can happen, do it before judging.
G'Night for me!

Dead Head Beat

Monday 17 March, GLAY released their first Digital Single including two songs:
1: STARLESS NIGHT - LISTEN
2: -VENUS [Minus Venus] - LISTEN

----------------------------------------

Our Internet was DEAD from thursday night to tuesday night... So I watched J-dorama Engine and rewatched J-dorama Brother Beat.
Tamayama Tetsuji is just perfect in Brother Beat. I definitely understand the girl Chisato falling for Tetsuji's character Tetsuya.
But Tetsuji himself is perfect, he got everything I see in a guy.
Anyway, that's it for girlie talks..haha

World Figure Skating Championships has begun in our second largest city Göteborg. Me and my youngest brother are going to Göteborg to watch Women free, Men short and free and Exhibition LIVE!! Not the best seats though, but how many times do you have a chance to see the world's best skaters compete?!?!
So we're going with the train tomorrow. Lots of people from our skating club are also going, some went yesterday, some are going today, and tomorrow.
And we're also going to watch some Official Practice too. Hopefully we'll get to see some really great skaters close! (Seats are not numbered at practice). I'm gonna go early enough to get some great seats on practice time!

So what's left... Pack all the things, and GO! (^O^)/

It's been around 2 yrs since I last went to snowboard, so it's gonna be fun!!

But after the week, it'll be much to do... The skating club is going to have an ice show three weeks from now, and no one has even begun making the programs..!

Anyway, for now, bye!

B-days and else...

So many birthdays these past days.
Both my grandparents on my mother's side, my brother turning 18 today, my friends etc.
I'll have to say:
Happy Birthday to you all!

Me these days aren't changing so much, just having so much things in my head, I don't know what I'm thinking sometimes. Many things I have to do, but still doesn't do it. Many "I should"s too. It feels like everything around me are moving forward except me. I'm still standing where I was awhile ago.
I think I'm just too lazy, what should I do with this laziness??

This saturday, we'll be driving north to the mountains. I'll get to snowboard again!! I haven't done that for more than two whole years..!! It's gonna be fun even if it's with the family! And I'm going to challenge some ground tricks this time. I've already started to learn some tricks from the Internet, I'll have something to practice when we are there.

I watched "Sweeney Todd" with my friends yesterday. It was a good movie, even if it wasn't a pleasure one. But the story actually is very sad. Johnny Depp was incredible as always. I really love his acting, I can't get rid of that. And he can sing! He'll forever be my favourite actor.

Think this is it for now.

Happy B-day HISASHI!!

お誕生日おめでとう HISASHI!!

Okay, I'm one day late, but I was so busy yesterday.
Hisashi turned 36 years yesterday.

And this is my first entry this year... Hm... I should write more often...
I was so busy the first week of the year, and after that I forgot to write about the first and the worst week of the year. I was so busy I hardly had time to go to the toilet or sleep.
I was working more than I was asleep every day.

But now I'm done with University for a long time! I won't go back until I know what I want to study. Now, I'm just working as a skate coach.
I'll see if I can get a job at IKEA soon.

Yesterday, it was the annual synchronized skating competition here at home, I don't skate synchro-skating anymore, but I was asked to help at the competition. So I "worked" as a timer, to take time to the skaters, to see that they don't skate too short or too long etc.
And I also got to see the competition!
Northern Lights came on 4th place with 109,42 points, the 3rd placed team had 109,70 points. More irritated and closer points, I've never seen. It was so close, it would've been better if the 3rd placed team had won over Northern Lights with 2-3 points or so, not with 0,28.
But besides the points, I think they skated good.

And when I was heading home, it was snow-storm. I barely could go with my Converse shoes...
And today wasn't better. The snow had turned to ice, and my legs and feet got so tired just by walking to the ice rink. And the way back too. I was exhaused and couldn't be standing.

Well, this for now.
Bye then.
